Bishop T.D. Jakes has spent decades building a ministry that extends far beyond the church.
Known for his speaking style and large-scale outreach efforts, Jakes has become one of the most recognizable religious leaders in the United States. Over the years, he has used television, film, publishing, and social media to connect with audiences from a wide range of backgrounds.

Jakes has been married to his wife, Serita Jakes, for more than three decades. Together, they have five children and continue to work closely on ministry and outreach efforts.
