Shaquille O’Neal paid for a family’s washer and dryer during a visit to a Home Depot store.

The interaction was captured in a video shared online, where the former NBA player is seen speaking with a woman and her mother after they recognized him while shopping.

After greeting them, O’Neal asked what they were there to buy. The woman explained that they were looking to purchase a washer and dryer.
He then told them he would cover the cost.

The response was immediate. Both women reacted with surprise before thanking him, and the video shows them embracing O’Neal as they processed what had just happened.
He encouraged them to choose the appliances they wanted, then walked with them and a store employee as they made their selection.

At the time, O’Neal was at the store filming a music video for a song released under his DJ name, DJ Diesel. Clips from the shoot later showed him moving through the aisles, interacting with customers and staff.

The video of the exchange circulated widely online, where it drew attention from viewers who commented on the interaction.
O’Neal has previously said he tries to do things like this when he can, particularly when he notices families or children shopping.
