Iyanna Cleveland has been found safe. The Greenville Police Department in South Carolina confirmed that Iyanna, who went missing on October 13, 2023, was located after more than two years.
Police said Iyanna was 14 years old when she left the care of the Department of Social Services on October 13, 2023. Investigators pursued the case for years, and issued several search warrants related to social media and phone records. They also spoke with friends, relatives, and DSS personnel. Despite the extensive work, early efforts did not uncover her whereabouts.
With assistance from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, detectives released an age-progressed image of Iyanna on November 5, 2025, which was distributed to news outlets in an effort to generate new leads.
One day later, investigators found her and confirmed she was safe. Iyanna is now 16 years old and had been staying with her father, authorities said.
Police have not shared any additional information.
