Ludacris has worked with some of the biggest names in music and film, but he says there is still one celebrity who leaves him genuinely starstruck: Meryl Streep.
During an interview, the rapper and actor admitted that meeting Streep was something he found genuinely exciting, specifically because of her performance in The Devil Wears Prada.
“I’m the biggest Devil Wears Prada fan,” he said while talking about the actress, adding that he was serious about wanting to meet her.
For some fans, the admission came as a surprise given Ludacris’s own career in entertainment. Over the years, he has appeared in major film franchises, including Fast & Furious, while also building a successful music career.
Still, he spoke about Streep the same way many movie fans do, pointing to the impact her work had on him.
Streep’s role as Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada remains one of her most recognizable performances and continues to be referenced years after the film’s release.
Ludacris has also spent years working in front of cameras himself, both as a musician and actor, which may partly explain his appreciation for performers known for strong screen presence and character work.
His comments stood out to many people online because they felt unusually genuine.
